Bob Green's organ tuition

In the late 1970s and early 1980s at the height of the electronic organ boom I was an organ teacher in my local Shropshire area.   I was unhappy teaching from the existing books available and devised my own methods and my own organ course in order to give both enjoyment and a sense of achievement to my students.

I have decided that amongst all my other musical sales I will sell copies of my organ course. The cost will be modest as each page is in the form of a JPEG file (photograph) and can be stored on your computer and printed off as necessary.   The musical notation is printed but the chord symbols and any repeat marks etc are  handwritten but as a musical arranger for many years I have long since learned to make my copies clear.  

The music is in the form of melody line for right hand, chord symbols for left hand and foot pedal bass line score using a two stave score.  The pieces are designed to be progressive with each piece adding to the abilities of the student in some way.

In order to avoid copyright problems in selling the original course I have recently commenced the replacement of the tunes used in the original courses with tunes which are not subject to copyright either as a result of being outside the time limit for the composer's copyright or they are tunes for which I hold the copyright having written them myself.

This revised course material has not yet been completed and so Courses 4 to 7 are not currently available.

The courses which are available at the present time are only available for sale through my eBay shops and not through the Web site.
